Ingredients

Everything that goes on the carton goes on this page too.

The full INCI list for each product is published on its own product page, word for word as the factory prints it. This page just walks through the handful of ingredients that are actually doing the work, and what they do, in plain language and without claiming anything medical.

In the Peptide Lip Butter

Peptide complex

Short chains of amino acids that, in a lip product, work on how smooth and how full the lip looks — an appearance claim, which is the only kind we are willing to make.

Shea butter and cupuaçu butter

The two fats that give the butter its cushion. Cupuaçu holds a remarkable amount of water for a plant butter, and that is what keeps the texture soft on the lip instead of waxy.

Vitamin E and squalane

Vitamin E keeps the oils in the formula from going off and conditions the lip. Squalane is a light emollient that sits on the surface and keeps lips feeling soft for longer.

In the Sculpt Lip Pencil

Pigment, wax and conditioning oils, with vitamin E. The balance between the wax and the oil is the whole craft of a lip pencil — too much wax and it drags across the lip, too much oil and it never sets at all — and the formula we have briefed is meant to stay blendable for roughly thirty seconds and then hold.

What is not in it

  • No animal-derived ingredients.
  • Not tested on animals, and no third party tests on our behalf.

If your lips react to things

Read the full list on the product page before you buy. If something does not agree with you, stop using it and write to us, and we refund you without asking you to prove anything about your own mouth. If a reaction does not settle down on its own, see a doctor or a pharmacist.

The documents

Every batch is made under, and nothing leaves the factory until that batch has its safety testing and its certificate of analysis behind it. If you sell SENTA in your own market and need the paperwork, just write to us and we send it.
